CURRENT BOARD POSITION OPENINGS
Apply for consideration to be a member of the ACPD CAB. We are currently accepting applications for the following open positions:
- One Community College of Denver Student
- One Community College of Denver Staff Member
- One Metropolitan State University of Denver Student
- One Metropolitan State University of Denver Faculty Member
- One University of Colorado Denver Staff Member
Members of the ACPD Community Advisory Board will be expected to play an active role in police-community discussions, develop recommendations and strategies, facilitate the strengthening of ongoing relationships between the police and the campus community, and engage in two-way communication with their institution to advocate for all perspectives, ideas and concerns. Each new member will be required to complete an orientation course with the ACPD, which includes a four-hour block of instruction and a four-hour ride-along with an ACPD officer (adhering to COVID-19 protocols), so that all members have an informed foundation from which to begin their work.
